Anish qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1999 with honours and after a year as a vocational practitioner, he embarked on a career in Oral Surgery. He undertook training within the Essex regional hospitals and gained his Membership from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2001. He was also a part time clinical tutor at King’s College Hospital and in 2005 was awarded the Speciality Fellowship examination in Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He was admitted onto the Specialist register for Oral Surgery in 2006.

He was formerly a Consultant Oral Surgeon for South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. He carries out all aspects of oral surgery such as complex extractions, surgical removal of wisdom teeth, surgical endodontics and surgical orthodontics. He also has a special interest in Oral Medical conditions such as oral ulcerations, burning mouth syndrome and lichen planus.

He has previously been one of the Clinical Leads for Community Dental Services for the South East Essex area and has vast experience in treating patients with special and complex needs. Anish has lectured nationally and internationally on Oral Surgery and has contributed to medical journals including many articles on Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine. Anish is an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow and is recognised by all major insurance companies.
