Laleh attained her post graduate diploma in sedation at GKT in 2002. Since then, she has been providing Intravenous Sedation in primary care and started a peripatetic sedation service following a demand in this niche. She now limits her service to this field and sedates in over 30 practices in the South East of England. Laleh is part of the prestigious faculty of SAAD (Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry ); and runs life support training courses, (D) ILS, for sedation practices.
Laleh is an examiner for the royal college of surgeons of Edinburgh and a sedation mentor for dentists and undertakes expert witness dento-legal work in this field.
Dental Sedation is a safe effective way to complete dental procedures not just for anxious patients but also indicated for long procedures, uncomfortable procedures, gag reflex and for patients with involuntary movement disorders like Parkinsons.
